Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, Feb. 26: Art from Boston Children's at Wheelock

Here's what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a partly sunny day with a high of 42 degrees. 

2. Art from Boston Children's at Wheelock: A new art exhibition is opening today at Wheelock College, featuring creative writing and art by patients at Boston Children's Hospital. Since 1996, the arts have been used at Children’s to enhance physical and emotional healing, transform the hospital environment, and provide opportunities for expression. You can see, "The View from Here," from 1-5 p.m. today at the Towne Art Gallery at Wheelock College (180 Riverway.) See here for more information. 

3. Research Study at Northeastern: Northeastern's communication analysis and design lab is starting a new language development study to see how the melody of speech is developed in children. They are currently looking to recruit children ages 4, 7 and 11 for two one-hour long sessions who have no language or hearing problems. Transportation costs are compensated and your family will receive $40 for participating. See here for more information.

4. Sox Tickets on Sale: Single-game tickets to see the Red Sox at Fenway Park are now on sale! Pick up game tickets for a hot summer night. The Sox season begins on April 1st with a series against the Yankees @ NY, and the 2013 home opener will be on April 8 against the Orioles. See here for more information

5. Northeastern Does the Harlem Shake: File this one under "viral video craze we barely understand," but check out this video of students at Northeastern donning their crazy costumes and joining in the latest Internet video fad, the Harlem Shake.
