Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, Feb. 6: Panel on State Budget at Wheelock

Here are a few things worth knowing in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of snow showers before 9 a.m. then a gradual clearing, with a high of 39 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

2. Panel on State Budget: Leaders in local, state and national government will speak to the outlook of funding items related to children and families in the upcoming fiscal year during a panel discussion hosted at Wheelock College (200 Riverway) today at 9 a.m. See here for more information. 

3. Trivia Time: Every Wednesday night, The Dugout (722 Commonwealth Ave.) hosts teams for Stump! Trivia. Come on by for cheap beer, free popcorn and a fun time. See here for more details.

4.  Attention Gardeners: Today from 6-8 p.m., West elm Fenway, (160 Brookline Ave.), invites customers to get inspired and gather floral and gardening ideas at an indoor garden extravaganza with Boston’s favorite floral designers.
