Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, May 15: Boston Bites Back at Fenway Tonight

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting an increasingly cloudy day, with a high near 67 degrees, and a 30 percent chance of showers. 

2. Boston Bites Back: More than 100 Boston chefs are coming together tonight in the neighborhood to raise $1 million for The One Fund. The event will be held from 6-10 p.m. at Fenway tonight. General admission is $200, and VIP admission is $1,000 per ticket. See here for more information. 

3. Fashion Show at MassArt: MassArt holds its annual fashion show tonight at 130 Columbus Ave. from 7-10 p.m. The show spotlights the talent and tantalizing designs from a select group of students in the Fashion Design Department. No tickets will be sold at the door. See here for more information.

4. Wheelock Grand Opening: Wheelock College (180 Riverway) will celebrate the opening of the Earl Center for Learning and Innovation on tonight with a building Opening and Dedication ceremony at 4:30 p.m. The Center is designed to serve as an emerging technology hub and resource for students, faculty, and members of the Greater Boston community who work with children and families. Noted Composer and Producer David Friedman will give free and open to the public performances of his musical revue titled “Listen to My Heart: The Songs of David Friedman” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. 5. Downtown Schools: Learn more about options for downtown schools tonight at "Meet the Schools Night" at Kingsley Montessori School (26 Exeter St.) tonight from 6-7:30 p.m. Representatives from The Advent School, Beacon Hill Nursery School, The Boston Children's School, John Winthrop School, The Learning Project, Montessori Parent Child Center, Old South Preschool, Park Street School, Pine Village, Spruce Street Nursery School, and the Torit Language Center will be available.
