Things to Know in Fenway-Kenmore Today, May 17: Benefit at House of Blues
Find out what's happening in the neighborhood today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service is predicting a sunny day, with a high near 71 degrees.
2. Benefit at House of Blues: Support children's music education at the House of Blues tonight with burgers and beer. Starting at 7:30 p.m. there will be burgers, Cisco brews, Bacardi spirits and a silent auction featuring autographed items from Kid Rock, Slash, Fun., Grace Potter Alabama Shakes, Dropkick Murphys and many more. 3. Berklee Concert: Students from 13 local Boston Public Schools will join together in a city-wide performance celebrating the completion of a year of free music instruction through Berklee City Music’s Faculty Outreach Program. The free and open-to-the-public event will feature students from local schools to celebrates the musical achievements of these young students. See here for more information.

4. Fenway HS 5K: Fenway High School's 3rd Annual 5K Run and Walk will be held in the neighborhood this weekend, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Back Bay Fens/Agassiz Rd. Numbers can be picked up on the day of the race between until 9:15 a.m. at Fenway High School, 174 Ipswich Street (near the park). See here for more information.
5. Fenway CDC Meeting: Next Wednesday, the Fenway Community Development Corporation is holding its annual neighborhood meeting. There will be a light dinner, an election of new board members, and looking at the CDC's 40 year history in the neighborhood. See here for more information.
