UPDATE: Boylston Bomb Scare Suspect Named
The suspect reportedly claimed he had a bomb in his car around 12:30 p.m. Sunday
A street was blocked near Copley Square around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday reportedly due to a person who claimed he had a bomb in his car.
The Copley subway stop was shut down temporarily and the situation was contained shortly after 1 p.m.
The suspect, a man named Udaykumar Patel, was named Sunday night. He was charged with disorder and failure to obey. He was sent to a hospital for psychological evaluation on Sunday, according to WCVB.
