Efton Chism III

Reports out of Patriots training camp were littered with praise for undrafted rookie receiver Efton Chism III. Yet, so far this season, he hasn't contributed in a big way.

Receivers coach Todd Downing was asked about what he's working on to get an opportunity.

Ex-Linebacker Joins The Steelers

Former Patriots linebacker Ja'Whuan Bentley has signed with the Steelers ahead of Week 3 to provide help for the Pittsburgh defense.

Bentley, a three-time captain in New England, was released in March. He signed to the Steelers' practice squad on Wednesday, so whether or not he'll be active Sunday is yet to be seen.

Bentley spent seven years with New England before being cut this spring. Jabrill Peppers, another former captain in New England, signed with the Steelers earlier this month.

Receiver Who Was Part Of Patriots Trade Retires

Quick question: who from the 2019 Patriots has the best career completion percentage? You're thinking Tom Brady, probably. Your next move is to think about the backup quarterbacks on the roster? Maybe the third-stringer only threw a couple of career passes.

It doesn't matter because the answer likely never sat in on a quarterback meeting.

Mohammed Sanu, a receiver who went 7 for 8 on passing attempts in his career with four touchdowns — half of his passes were for touchdowns! — has retired from the NFL.

In addition to being what is almost certainly the most successful non-quarterback passer in NFL history, Sanu was part of a 2019 trade that sent him to New England.

The New England trade wasn't as successful for Sanu, who only caught 33 passes for 313 yards that season. New England gave up a second-round pick in the deal.

Sanu spent most his career in Atlanta. He hasn't played in three seasons.

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B Announce Baby

Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and New York City rapper Cardi B announced they'll be having a child together.

The couple made waves in the offseason with the announcement of their relationship and a boat video that Odell Beckham hopes will replace his in infamous NFL boating moments.

Diggs signed with the Patriots in the offseason and is part of a receiver room the organization hopes can help lift Drake Maye in his second season.
