Car Owner Stopped Break-In On Elm Street: Police

Police were unable to find the suspect but were able to develop information about which way he fled the scene.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A search for a person wanted for a vehicle break-in on Elm Street was not successful.

The owner of the car was able to stop the suspect from breaking into his vehicle late Sunday night, according to the Foxborough Police Department. The suspect then fled on foot and Foxborough Police and State Police searched the area. While the suspect was not found, police were able to develop information about the suspect's direction of flight for detectives to follow up on.

Police say there is no danger to the community but residents are reminded to lock their car doors.
