FOXBOROUGH, MA — The pop superstar Ed Sheeran has added another Foxborough date to the American leg of his 2023 tour.

Sheeran recently announced the North American leg of his upcoming tour, and it originally included one stop in Foxborough. To keep up with demand, Sheeran announced that he'll now play shows on June 30 and July 1.

Sheeran will be joined by Khalid and Rosa Linn on his "+ - = ÷ x TOUR" — pronounced "Mathematics Tour" — during the Foxborough stop at Gillette Stadium.

Sheeran recently wrapped the European leg of the tour, performing in front of over 3 million people in 6 months, highlighted by a five-night stand at London’s Wembley Stadium.

The tour is the first major trek to support “=,” Sheeran’s latest full-length album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 upon its release in 2021, becoming his fourth consecutive album to top the chart. The fourth installment of Sheeran’s symbol album series, “=” is highlighted by its GRAMMY-nominated lead single “Bad Habits,” which was up for “Song of the Year” at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards earlier this year, and its follow-up smash “Shivers.”
