FOXBOROUGH, MA — As the search for Foxborough’s next Town Manager continues, the Town is asking for community input through a short survey. This quick survey aims to identify the skills, experience, and attributes of Foxborough’s next town manager desired by residents, local business owners, and community stakeholders. Community Paradigm Associates, LLC will use this information, along with perspectives from the Select Board, Town Department Heads and other key town officials, to complete a Position statement.

This would serve as a recruiting brochure to provide potential candidates an understanding of the Town, its current issues, responsibilities of the Town Manager position, and expectations of the community. The survey is available until October 20, here.

After the Position Statement is reviewed and approved by the Select Board, the advertisement and active recruitment of candidates begins. The seven member Town Manager Search Screening Committee (TMSSC), appointed in September, will review resumes and conduct primary interviews mid to late November. After final background checks, the Finalists are referred to the Select Board at which point they will interview the final candidates during Open Session and subsequently choose a final candidate sometime in January. Current Town Manager Bill Keegan will officially retire in January 2023, remaining as the interim until the new Town Manager can begin their tenure.
