School Safety Update Scheduled For Foxboro School Committee Meeting

The school committee will meet ahead of the first day of classes. Here's what to expect.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The Foxborough School Committee is set to meet on Tuesday, just weeks ahead of the first day of classes for students, set for Sept. 6.

On the agenda for the 6:30 p.m. meeting, to take place in the Andrew Gala Meeting Room at town hall, are updates of summer work and student handbook changes. Here's what's listed:

  • 6:30 p.m.: Open public comments
  • 6:35 p.m.: Approval of minutes
  • 6:40 p.m.: School safety with Foxborough Police Chief Michael Grace, Sargeant Val Collins and Officers Megan Allen and Joseph Godino
  • 7 p.m.: Superintendent's Update
  • 7:10 p.m.: Update on summer work and preparations for the opening of school
  • 7:35 p.m.: 2022-2023 student handbook changes
  • 7:50 p.m.: School Committee vote to approve 2022-2023 district goals
  • 7:55 p.m.: Proposed 2022-2023 School Committee meeting dates
  • 8 p.m. Acceptance of a donation
