The Friends sponsored event will run on Thursday, May 11th (10AM-8PM), Friday, May 12th (10AM-5PM) and Saturday, May 13th (10AM-3PM). The sale will be held in the Community Meeting Room, Fuller Conference Room and Café. Please visit to browse and shop the wide selection of fiction and non-fiction for adults, young adults and children. Look for your favorite authors, series and titles available in hard cover and paperback. We also have media available for purchase. Most items are priced between $1 to $5 and specialty items will be priced as marked.
Friends will also be offering unique Mother’s Day Specials for purchase to show your appreciation to the mother figures in your life. An Annual Membership combined with a $10 Gift Card will be available for $25, along with a limited number of gift sets and discounted gift cards.
Active and current paid members of the Friends of Boyden Library who attend the sale will receive a $2 credit towards a purchase and also be granted early access to the $5 Fill-A-Bag Sale on Friday, May 12th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. The popular bag sale will be open to the general public on Saturday, May 13th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Paper bags will be provided by Friends and you will be invited to fill them for $5 each. Our large reusable bags will also be availble for purchase for additional $1. We are now able to accept contactless and card payments, in addition to cash and personal checks.
All proceeds from the book sale allow us to support many of the various programs offered at the Boyden Library. Thank you to the members of our community who continue to donate materials in the book drop and participate in the Book Drives! We have collected hundreds of books and media of various topics and in excellent condition over the past few months. Please know that your overwhelming support and generous contributions continue to make this annual event a success!
