FOXBOROUGH, MA — The town's newest war memorial will be installed and dedicated this month.The Foxborough Veterans Services' office invites residents to join them for the Global War on Terror Veterans Memorial dedication ceremony at the south end of the Common on May 18 at 6 p.m.Activities for the memorial dedication will include brief remarks by local officials, members of the community who served, a prayer of dedication from the local clergy, and ribbon cutting ceremony. Following the ceremony there will be a brief collation with refreshments, according to a release.The memorial pays tribute to residents who have served in the armed services since Sept. 11, 2001. The dedication ceremony will be the first time that the public has seen the memorial.<hr />Image: File Photo
