Kendrick Lamar Just Played The Super Bowl. Here's When To See Him In MA In 2025
Kendrick Lamar and SZA will go from the Super Bowl to a world tour in 2025, including a stop at Gillette Stadium.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Kendrick Lamar and SZA delivered the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, perhaps the most memorable moment for non-Philadelphia fans as the Eagles dismantled the Kansas City Chiefs.
During his set, Lamar performed a mix of hits from his catalog and new songs from his latest release, 2024's "GNX". Also featured were songs from his summer battle with Drake, including "Not Like Us".
Actor Samuel L. Jackson played the role of Uncle Sam during the set, providing commentary that played into the setlist while, during the performance on "Not Like Us", tennis superstar Serena Williams — who, like Lamar, is a Compton, California native — was featured as a dancer.

Many will, and have already, viewed the show as a cap on Lamar's run through 2024 into 2025. That run featured a cultural victory in the era-defining rap beef with Drake, five Grammy Award wins and, yesterday, the Super Bowl performance.
But Lamar's year isn't over, as he and SZA will head out on a stadium tour starting in April that includes a stop at Gillette Stadium.

The "Not Like Us" rapper and "Kill Bill" singer will play Gillette Stadium during a May 12 date, which comes after two shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Notably, for those who followed Lamar's spat with Drake, a Toronto date has been scheduled for June 12.
