Man Gets Over 20-22 Years For Foxborough, Attleboro Child Rapes

Pedro Leacock was found guilty of 24 counts of child rape with force, 12 counts of rape, and 16 counts of child rape with force.

An Attleboro man will spend at least two decades in prison after being found guilty of dozens of counts of child rape, indecent assault and battery, and incest.

Pedro Leacock, 44, was sentenced to 20 to 22 years in prison Tuesday following Monday's guilty convictions by a Norfolk Country Superior Court jury. In total, Leacock was found guilty of 58 of 78 of the charges, including 24 counts of child rape with force, 12 counts of rape, and 16 counts of child rape.

Some of the incidents took place in hotels and homes in Attleboro and Foxborough, according to court records. Leacock was arrested nearly three years ago after a victim came forward and told police, according to a 2015 Sun Chronicle article.

Since Attleboro is in Bristol County, the charges in that jurisdiction were combined with the ones in Norfolk Superior Court.

Following his prison sentence, Leacock must serve six years of probation, stay away from the victim and all witnesses, wear a GPS monitoring device with the victim's residence as an exclusion zone, register as a sex offender, and complete a sex offender evaluation and complete all recommended treatment.
