MBTA To Run Train To Beyonce/Jay-Z Gillette Stadium Concert
The On The Run II Tour comes to Foxborough Aug. 5.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — There will be a public transportation option for anyone going to Beyonce/Jay-Z concert at Gillette Stadium.
Jess Enos, the director of external affairs and business development for Gillette Stadium, told the board that the commuter rail platform will be used for the On The Run II show, which comes to Foxborough Aug. 5. While not a regular option, the train has been used at some shows in the past.
"I think that the combination of the Sunday evening show with the MBTA option with the lower projected attendance should make for a smooth in and out," Enos said.

Attendance is expected to not go beyond 42,000 fans, although the entire stadium will be open Enos said.
The price may have something to do with that. Standard tickets range from $57 to $357 and if you want to get near the stage, but the Club Carter section seating right in front of the main stage runs from $295 to $775 and the VIP section will set fans back $1,850.
