FOXBOROUGH, MA — A medical device company has a new name and a new home.MedPlast, now going by the name, Viant, announced in a recent press release that they are moving their corporate headquarters to Foxborough. The new name is a result of a recent acquisition of Integer Holding Corporation's Advanced Surgical and Orthopedics business."The addition of Integer's business expands our capabilities and offerings, and enables us to achieve our goal of being a full-service supplier to our customers," MedPlast Chief Executive Officer Brian King said in a release. "Our new name, Viant, represents our dedication to our customers and to the patients that our customers serve; and is indicative to our commitment that 'we're in it for life.' We could not be more pleased to rebrand as Viant in conjunction with the close of this newest acquisition." The company's listed headquarters is on Hampshire Street.<hr />Image via Google Maps
