PHOTOS: Foxboro Fire Department Practices Ice Rescue
The Foxboro Fire Department made good use of their time practicing ice rescue operations on a frozen lake.

FOXBORO, MA — Foxboro's firefighters got some solid training last week, practicing rescuing people who have fallen through thin ice.
The Rescue Alive Sled and MARSARS Water Rescue System, another sled, were both designed specifically for situations where somebody has fallen through the ice, the fire department posted on their Facebook page.
Firefighter MacMaster cut a hole in the ice with a chainsaw. Members of the fire department's Group Three — Lt. Grenier and Firefighters Rabuffo, Philbin, Villa and Greaves — all practices rescuing victims using both sleds.
