PHOTOS: I-95 Brush Fire In Foxboro Doused

FOXBORO, MA — Foxboro firefighters made quick work of a brush fire on Route 95 between exits six and seven, according to a social media post by the Foxboro Fire Department.

Group 1 responded to the fire, which had grown to an acre in the median by the time they arrived.

Engines 23 and 24 arrived and parked in the passing lane and sent in two forestry lines, the social media post said. With the help of the Mansfield Fire Department, the blaze was doused in 45 minutes.
