Rammstein Wraps Up Gillette Stadium 2022 Concerts; MBTA Commuter Rail

The MBTA announced that a commuter rail will run from South Station in Boston and the downtown station in Providence.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Football season is here, and with that comes the closure of the 2022 concert series at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

There's one show remaining on the schedule, when Rammstein comes to New England on Friday, playing Gillette Stadium for the first time.

The band has been heralded as the "most extreme pyro-theatrical spectacle in live music", and this will be their first time playing in the Boston market, according to Gillette Stadium officials.

The show will start at 7 p.m., with parking lots scheduled to open at 3 p.m. and gates opening at 5 p.m. For tickets, click here.

MBTA Commuter Train

The MBTA run round-trip, special event commuter rail trains from Boston and Providence to the concert on Friday.

The Boston special event train will depart from South Station with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corp before arriving at its final destination of Foxboro Station at 5:20 p.m.

The Providence special event train will depart from Providence Station with stops at Attleboro and Mansfield before arriving at Foxboro Station at 6:35 p.m.

Roundtrip tickets are $20 and can be purchased on the mTicket app or at Back Bay Station, North Station and South Station.
