Brown Hoops Coach Sarah Behn Facing Domestic Assault Charge
Police alleged that the former Foxborough HS basketball star and coach pushed her husband over a chair.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Former Foxborough High School girls' basketball star and coach and current Brown University women's basketball coach Sarah Behn was in court this week to face domestic assault charges.
Behn was arraigned Monday in Wrentham District Court on a charge of assault and battery on a family/household member, according to the Providence Journal. An attorney for Behn denied the allegation, said that Behn's mother stated that there was no physical altercation, and called the case, "a private matter."
Court records allege that Behn's husband, who she is in the process of divorcing, was pushed over a chair. Behn, however, said her soon to be ex-husband was yelling at her mother, and she stepped in to get him away from her mother.

Behn is a local legend and is considered to be one of the best athletes to come out of Foxborough High School. She scored 2,562 points for the Warriors, which was a state record at the time. Her number 33, along with Tom Nalen's 77 are the only two jersey numbers to be retired by the high school.
