Stefon Diggs Gives Patriots, Drake Maye Number 1 Receiver

The New England Patriots have their top receiving option after agreeing to a reported three-year deal with Stefon Diggs.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Stefon Diggs shouldn't be a stranger to New England Patriots fans. In his years with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, Diggs cemented himself as a top receiver and helped Allen grow into a top quarterback.

Now, two seasons later, Patriots brass hope he can do the same for quarterback Drake Maye.

Diggs was with the Houston Texans in 2024 and suffered a torn ACL that ended his season. He's now about five months into that recovery process.

With 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns in 2024, Diggs was on his way to another 1,000-yard receiving effort. At 31, the team is surely hoping the ACL injury hasn't slowed him down.
