WATCH: Foxborough Observes Memorial Day

The annual parade and ceremony took place at the Common Monday morning.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough took a moment Monday morning to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.

The annual Memorial Day Parade proceeded up it's annual route from the TD Bank on Central Street to the Center of Town. Led by elected officials, scouts, the Foxborough High School marching band, police officers, and veterans, the march was followed by a ceremony at the Common.

A proclamation from Governor Charlie Baker was read and state Senator Paul Feeney, state Rep. Jay Barrows, Foxborough Board of Selectmen Chairman Chris Mitchell, Veterans Service Officer Michael Johns, and Foxborough High School student speaker Meghan Curran all gave remarks.
