5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: January 26
MassDOT will hold a meeting about the Mass Pike in Framingham tonight. Plus, where you will find the Flyers and Mustangs in action.

1. MassDOT will hold a hearing on the MassPike, its maintenance plan, and the new electronic tolls in Framingham tonight from 6 to 8 at the Memorial Building. Click here for more details. The meeting will not be televised.
2. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building. On the agenda is a discussion about Landscape Depot and capital budget recommendation for Fiscal Year 2017. The meeting will be televised on the Government Channel.
3. Framingham School Committee will not meet until February 9, but the School Committee’s subcommittee on technology will hold its first meeting of the 2015-16 school year tonight at 7 at King Elementary School. The major issue on the agenda is the district’s wi-fi.

4. FLYERS in action:
- Wrestling team host the Tigers of Newton North at 6 p.m. at the Framingham High gym
- Boys basketball hosts the Rebels of Walpole tonight at 6:30
- Girls basketball travels to Walpole for a game. Tip-off at 6:45 p.m.
- Tomorrow night the boys ice hockey team has game against Walpole, in which a 50-50 raffle will benefit injured professional women’s hockey Player Denna Laing. Puck drops at 7 at Loring Arena.

- Marian’s indoor track team has meets against Lowell and Cathedral at 4:30 p.m. at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston
5. Governor Charlie Baker was joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Marylou Sudders, House Speaker Robert DeLeo, Senate President Stan Rosenberg, Ways and Means Chair Senator Karen Spilka and Attorney General Maura Healey for a bill signing ceremony in Boston Monday to prohibit the civil commitment of women facing substance misuse disorders to MCI-Framingham and provide addiction treatment services at Shattuck and Taunton State Hospitals.
