UPDATED: Armed Robbery at Framingham Gas Station

A man, in his 20s or 30s, showed a knife and threatened a clerk on Wednesday, and escaped on a kid's bicycle.

An unidentified man with a knife robbed a Framingham gas station on Wednesday, and escaped with about $130 on a kid’s bicycle, according to Framingham Police.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, attached to this report.

Police said a white or hispanic male, in his 20s or 30s, robbed the US Petroleum gas station on Union Avenue around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

The man, who is described as 5’8” to 5’10” showed a knife and threatened the clerk, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin. The clerk was unharmed, said police.

He fled on a bicycle down Brewster Street toward Franklin Street, said Lt. Cronin. He took about $130 from the gas station, said police.

During the robbery the man was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He was described wearing a hat with a white snowflake design, a multi-colored scarf.
