*WINTER STORM ALERT*Snow Emergency Parking Ban in Effect at 6 a.m. Friday, February 25, Trash and Recycling Collection Delay Information, and Closure of Non-essential Municipal Buildings
Framingham, MA - A snow emergency parking ban on all arterial roads will go into effect tomorrow, at 6 a.m., Friday, February 25, until 6 a.m., Saturday, February 26. Arterial roads are designated with posted red and white signs. This parking ban is in addition to the citywide year-round odd/even parking restriction on all streets. Residents are encouraged to seek off-street parking and not interfere with snow clearing operations. Any vehicle obstructing snow clearing operations will be towed. Due to the storm, trash and recycling WILL NOT be collected tomorrow, Friday, February 25. Collection is already on a holiday schedule, delayed by one day. Collection will be delayed by one additional day, meaning:

- Thursday’s collection will occur on Saturday, February 26.
- Friday’s collection will occur on Sunday, February 27.
Please DO NOT place trash and recycling carts on the street and sidewalk. Carts placed in the public right-of-way are an obstruction to plowing equipment.
All non-essential municipal buildings will be closed to the public on Friday, February 25. Staff will be working remotely, responding to telephone calls and emails.
