And on March 15, the public is invited to try a free sample from 6 to 7 p.m. at John Harvard's. The public is also encouraged to purchase the limited-edition General George Gordon pint glass or pick up an author-signed copy of the book Framingham's Civil War Hero - The Life of General George H. Gordon by town historian Fred Wallace.

The Framingham History Center is celebrating the life of the Framingham general as it continues its commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The Center will host a Living History Encampment on the Centre Common the weekend of May 4-6.
