Drop Unused or Expired RX Drugs at Police Station
Framingham Police are participating in the DEA's national Prescription Drug Take Back Day today between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Clean out your medicine cabinet of old, unwanted, expired or unused prescription drugs; and drop them off at the between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today, Saturday, April 28.
Framingham Police, once again, is participating, in the national Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Many police station in the MetroWest area are participating.
Americans that participated in the DEA’s third National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day last October 29, turned in more than 377,086 pounds of unwanted or expired medications for safe and proper disposal at the 5,327 take-back, according to a press release from the DEA.

“The amount of prescription drugs turned in by the American public during the past three Take-Back Day events speaks volumes about the need to develop a convenient way to rid homes of unwanted or expired prescription drugs,” said DEA Administrator Michele M. Leonhart.
