Fellow Student Has Special Shout Out For Framingham Graduate

Karen is a nontraditional student by every definition; she’s a single parent of two young adult sons who are also in college. Karen’s a devoted mother, daughter and friend. Karen is incredibly supportive to everyone she comes in contact. She advocates for all individuals on and off campus. Her academic achievements are impressive; multiple honor societies, senior award recipient, 4.0 gpa, dean’s list and the list goes on. Karen’s also has a minor in dance; a talented dancer. She’s heavily involved in student engagement and across all aspects of campus life. She’s very well known by all. Karen’s strength, perseverance, kindhearted personality is inspiring. Also, she’s the true definition of the saying “Age is just a number”- Karen is 59 years old and her tenacious spirit, energy and scholarly work is astonishing.
