“I’m extremely happy for all of the players, especially the seniors, to achieve one of our major goals of qualifying for the state tournament. This has been a long-term goal that the players have put a ton of work into,” said Torbert. “They’ve really been a joy to coach, and they have responded well to adversity throughout the season. I believe that we are only getting better and playing with more consistency as we come down the stretch.”

Junior Kevin Lora had a huge run in the fourth quarter against the Panthers, where he hit two transitional 3-pointers in a row, said Torbert. He finished the game with 10 points.

Junior Nate Martino had 11 points for Framingham, and played great defense, said Torbert.

“We’re excited for a great challenge coming up in the next week against two of the best programs in the state in Danvers and Newton North. Both games will be excellent experience for us as we prepare for tournament action,” said Torbert.
