Framingham Church Gets $10K Donation To Help Feed Families

Greater Framingham Community Church received $10,000 to support ProjectDash, which gives meals and groceries to Framingham school families.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — ProjectDash just received some additional funds to continue their work providing meals and groceries for local families.

Framingham Public Schools recently shared that Greater Framingham Community Church received a $10,000 donation from MutualOne Bank to support ProjectDash, which provides fresh groceries for 90 Framingham Public Schools families on a biweekly basis.

The program was launched through DoorDash in 2018 and connects food banks and other hunger-focused organizations with drivers who can deliver food to those families in Framingham.

As of October 2022, the program had made about 1,000 deliveries totaling roughly 17,000 meals for families in need, according to a report.
