Framingham Defeats Weymouth By 0.2 points

The gymnastics team won its meet 122 to 121.8 Thursday night, to go 2-2 on the season.

Framingham High’s gymnastics team defeated Weymouth Thursday night 122 to 121.8, to go 2-2 on the season.

“Going into the meet we knew it would be very close,” said co-captain Kate O’Callaghan.

“Since Weymouth does not have a spring floor, like most other gyms, everyone was worried about not getting enough power in their tumbling. Despite the fact that everyone on floor couldn’t do their routines to their absolute peak performance, everyone was able to stay level headed and focus really well on the little things in their routines to keep them clean,“ said O’Callaghan. “This really payed off because those clean routines helped us win even if it was just a little.”
