Framingham High Chooses Comedy For Drama Festival Entry
Public is invited to a benefit performance of Sideways Stories From Wayside School on Friday, Feb. 26. Tickets on sale January 11.

Last year, Framingham High School’s Drama Company did not make it to the finals of the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild’s Drama Festival. Framingham has made the finals 10 times in the last 13 years.
For the past 5 years, Framingham High has performed ‘dark’ dramas for their festival entry, but this year the entry will be a comedy - Sideways Stories From Wayside School.
The play, adapted by John Olive, is based on the children’s book by Louis Sachar. The play takes place in an elementary school that has 30 classrooms, one on each floor, 30 stories high.
