Framingham Looking to Fill Vacancies on Boards

The Framingham Board of Selectmen announced this week vacancies on various boards, committees, and commissions.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The Framingham Board of Selectmen announced this week vacancies on various boards, committees, and commissions.

Persons, including incumbents, interested in serving in a position can obtain an application one of these ways: call the Selectmen’s office at 508-532-5400, email selectmen@FraminghamMA.gov, or download an application from the Selectmen’s page on the Town’s website at www.FraminghamMA.gov. They may also forward a letter of interest and resume to Board of Selectmen, 150 Concord St., Framingham, MA 01702. The next round of appointments will be made on June 14. All applications must be submitted by June 3. All submissions will be considered for available positions, officials said.

As of June 30, the following groups will have vacancies: Agricultural Advisory Commission, Bicycle &Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Board of Health, Cable Advisory Committee, Cemetery Commission, Community Development Committee, Conservation Commission, Council on Aging, Cultural Council, Cushing Memorial Chapel Advisory Committee, Disability Commission, Economic Development and Industrial Corporation, Fair Housing Committee, Historic District Commission, Historical Commission, Human Relations Commission, Park and Recreation Commission, Veterans Council and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
