Framingham State Raises Funds for Victims of Boston Bombing

During the celebration of the last day of classes at FSU, students ran on the school's track to raise funds for the One Fund.

Student runners took to the track at Framingham State University on Friday to raise funds for the victims of the recent Boston marathon bombing.

The event took place during the annual "Sandbox" celebration which brings students together with activities after the last day of classes for the year.

Runners raised funds through pledges from friends and family members. Organizers of the event said they hoped to raise $1,000 through donations and t-shirt sales for the One Fund.
