Framingham Student Simmonds Participates in University Club

Many Eastern Connecticut State University students participate in Eastern’s clubs during the academic year.

Cailley Simmonds, class of 2019, of Framingham participated in the Education Club at Eastern Connecticut State University during the fall 2015 semester.

Simmonds’s major is Pre-Elementary Education and History and Social Science.

Eastern students who participate in clubs/organizations excel in the classroom and do better academically than students who do not participate.

Students participating in clubs had an average GPA of 3.10, much higher than the 2.94 average for students who do not participate in any of the clubs/organizations.
