Framingham Voters In 3 Precincts Have A Preliminary Election This Week

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham's mini preliminary election in a school committee race is this week.

A preliminary election is scheduled for the District 2 School Committee race, which has three candidates.

David Tomas Gordon, Luther T. Evans and Lorena Tovar will be on the ballot for the Sept. 16 election, in which only voters in Precincts 25, 26 and 27 will cast a vote. The top two candidates will advance to the city election on Nov. 4.

Voting hours on Sept. 16 are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Deadlines for voter registration and to request a mail-in ballot have passed.

This year's election will be headlined by a mayoral race between incumbent Charlie Sisitsky and Geoff Epstein, who served on the Framingham School Committee and, previously, on the School Committee in Newton.
