Framingham's Kirchman, McDonald Place in Top 10 at State Track Meet

The Framingham High boys indoor track team finished 30th overall at the Division 1 state meet on Sunday, Feb. 14.

Framingham’s Ben Kirchman finished seventh at the Division 1 State track meet on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Kirchman ran the 55-meter hurdles in 8.21 seconds.

The time should qualify him for the all-state meet said Framingham High boys indoor track head coach Chris Collins.

Senior captain Mike McDonald finished ninth overall in the mile with a time of 4:33.02 minutes, said Collins.

Overall, the Flyers finished 30th at the state meet.

Senior Marc Umumbu finished 11th overall in the shot put with a throw of 45-feet, 10-inches.

Senior Nick Benoit finished 28th overall in the dash event with a time of 6.97 seconds.
