Town Manager Bob Halpin said municipal employees raised the money during the holidays for Pearl Street Cafe and Food Pantry in Framingham.

Framingham municipal employees raised just over $5,000 for the United Way’s Pearl Street Cafe and Food Pantry during the holidays, announced Framingham Town Manager Bob Halpin Tuesday night.
“I am very pleased and proud to report that our tremendous group of municipal employees succeeded in raising just over $5,000 during the holiday season to support the work of the United Way and its Pearl St. Café and Food Pantry in improving the level of food and nutrition security for families in Framingham and Metro West. A special thanks to all those who made cash donations and donations of prizes for the raffle event that has become a great part of our annual employee holiday party,” Halpin told Selectmen at their Tuesday night meeting.
