Great Framingham Cleanup 2.0 Begins On April 9
The goal is to have 500 folks picking up litter during the two-week event, culminating on the 10th annual Earth Day celebration on April 23.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Hundreds of volunteers with rakes and trash bags in hand are expected to participate in this year's Great Framingham Cleanup 2.0 beginning on April 9 in a quest for a litter free city.
This is the second annual cleanup effort cosponsored by Keep Framingham Beautiful (KFB), a chapter of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful. The two-week event starts on Saturday, April 9 and winds down on Friday, April 22. On Saturday, April 23, the cleanup will culminate with the 10th annual Framingham Earth Day Festival at the Framingham Centre Common from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During this two-week time frame, KFB will hold four group cleanups. However, individuals are encouraged to do small cleanups on their own or with friends in their neighborhood or their favorite city space.

The goal of the event is for more than 500 people to pick up litter during the two-week event and sharing the pictures of their activities and progress on the KFB Facebook page. The group will be giving out superlatives for fun and creative pictures in the following categories:
