Iconic New England Outdoors Brand To Open Framingham Store This Fall

No opening date has been announced yet, but the store is hiring for over 80 jobs.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — From duck boots to flannels and boat and totes, L.L. Bean has been supplying those who love the outdoors for years.

Now, fans of the New England-based brand in the MetroWest will have better access to a brick-and-mortar store.

L.L.Bean, the outdoor lifestyle brand founded in Maine in 1912, will open a new store in Massachusetts this November at Fresh Market Plaza in Framingham.

“Framingham’s location in the heart of MetroWest makes it an ideal spot for our newest retail store,” said Greg Elder, Chief Retail Officer at L.L.Bean. “It will allow us to more conveniently serve our area customers with our outdoor-inspired, four-season assortment of apparel and footwear.”

To staff the new location, L.L.Bean is hiring up to 85 employees for full- and part-time roles, including store team leads and sales associates. Applications are now being accepted online for the open roles, officials said.

No exact opening date has been announced, but officials said news on that date and store activations are coming soon.
