Hollywood Comes to MetroWest: John Travolta in Natick, Vince Vaughn in Framingham

Hollywood is liking MetroWest.

While actors Vince Vaughn and Tom Wilkinson have been filming scene for the movie The Business Trip in Framingham the past two weeks, Tuesday John Travola was shooting scenes for his upcoming movie The Forger, including a shoot at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick where he took some time out to pose with fans. 

Last year, Christian Bale filmed scenes for the movie American Hustle in Natick at Reliable Cleaners in March. The film is scheduled to open nationwide next month.

MetroWest Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bonnie Biocchi said it is nice "MetroWest is getting some attention" from Hollywood.

She said when Hollywood films in a region "it provides a significant boost to the local economy."

The hire a caterer, they use dry cleaning services, they take up space in hotels, they eat in restaurants, said Biocchi as examples.
