FRAMINGHAM, MA - The Massachusetts State Police reported at 1:36 p.m. Thursday afternoon that the left lane of the Massachusetts Turnpike heading eastbound is temporarily closed due to a sinkhole at the 113.8 mile marker in Framingham.

Authorities from the Massachusetts State Police from Weston and the state's Department of Transporation are currently on the scene, according to a Twitter post.

The lane closure is expected to last for more than one hour.
