LETTER: 'Lamb Saved Taxpayers Money'

Natick resident says voters should elect Marty Lamb to the Republican State Committee on March 1.

Regarding the recent letter from Ed McGrath which attacked Marty Lamb, candidate for the Republican State Committee:

I would like to point out that Mr. McGrath recently used his elected position in order to secure a paid job with the state.

Mr. Lamb, on the other hand, saved taxpayers quite a bit of money when he led the movement which successfully repealed the automatic gas tax.

Mr. McGrath claimed that Mr. Lamb had attacked him. What was this so-called attack?

Mr.Lamb had stated that it was wrong for the Republican Party to revoke the charter of the Massachusetts Federation of Republican Women. Rather than acknowledging that the GOP had made a terrible mistake, Mr. McGrath decided to attack Mr. Lamb, who should be thanked for standing up for the Federation of Republican Women and for his support of outreach groups.

I encourage Republican primary voters in the Second Middlesex & Norfolk district to vote for Marty Lamb for Republican State Committee on March 1st.
