Lt. Gov. Polito Coming To Framingham To Support Leombruno and McGrath

Framingham residents Ed McGrath and Janet Leombruno are running for re-election for Republican State Committee. Election is March 1.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito is coming to Framingham to support Ed McGrath and Janet Leombruno in their campaign for re-election to the Republican State Committee.

The Lt. Gov. will be at Samba Steak and Sushi House on Jan. 11, beginning at 5 p.m.

McGrath is a Framingham resident. He serves as chair of the Framingham Republican Town Committee and has worked tirelessly to build the grassroots of the Republican Party. He has recruited and helped numerous Republican candidates, including Mary Z. Connaughton, Jon Fetherston, and Doug Grindle. During the most recent state election, McGrath was responsible for managing the Republican Field Office in Framingham.

Leombruno lives in Framingham. She is a tireless campaigner and has worked on numerous statewide and local races. For example, she served as an essential member of the Baker/Polito Team in 2014. In addition, Leombruno served as a senior advisor to Connaughton during Connaughton’s race for Auditor and she is vice chair of the Framingham First movement.

The Massachusetts Republican State Committee is made up of a man and woman from each of the state’s 40 state senate districts.

The State Committee establishes the policies of the Massachusetts Republican Party and assists the party’s ward and town committees. State Committee members are responsible for recruiting, supporting and electing Republican candidates.

The election is Tuesday, March 1.
