Neighborhood Rallies Around Framingham Family After Unexpected Death

John Macklin died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 21. A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family, that has 2 children.

Stephanie Macklin awoke one of her neighbors early Sunday morning to ask them to watch their child, as her husband was in distress and headed to the hospital.

Sadly, John Macklin died unexpectedly after experiencing respiratory distress on Sunday, Feb. 21.

John leaves behind his wife, and their two children Lily and Sophie.

A GoFundMe campaign was set up to help the Framingham family.

“We hope that you will join us in expressing how much we care and support the Macklin family during this time. Your words of encouragement and financial contributions are what this family needs right now so they can focus on grieving rather than how they are going to pay mounting medical and family expenses,” wrote the Shaffer family., who lives in Ashland. “Thank you in advance for your selfless support.”
