Overnight Utility Work in Downtown Framingham

Below is a list of MassDOT, Town of Framingham and utility construction projects in Framingham the week of January 11, 2016.
- DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: Contractors continue to install traffic signals, street lights and wiring throughout the project. Expect minor delays and on-street parking restrictions in areas of construction.
- EVERSOURCE DOWNTOWN UTILITY PROJECT: Contractors have begun excavation of a jacking pit in the area just north of the railroad tracks on Concord Street between Howard Street and Waverly Street. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Parking will be restricted in the work area. Work is scheduled Sunday evening through Thursday evening from 8 p.m.to 5 a.m. Expect minor delays.
- ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET: Contractors are working on the southern section of the bridge. The westbound pedestrian sidewalk will remain closed. Expect minor delays.
- CENTRAL STREET BRIDGE OVER THE SUDBURY RIVER: The bridge will remain closed for the winter. Traffic will continue to be detoured over the Wickford Road Bridge. The bridge project, under the direction of MassDOT, is not supposed to be completed now until Spring 2016.
