Peanuts Comic Strip Comes To Life on Framingham Stage

Charles Schultz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip characters will come to life this weekend in Framingham, as the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) is stages a production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Tonight is opening night! There are three shows - Friday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center of Metrowest, 140 Pearl Street, Framingham.

The musical features a cast of students in grades 3-6, from the MetroWest area, highlighting vignettes from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day.
Suitable for all ages, the musical is based on comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schultz, with book, lyrics and music by Clark M. Gesner.

The whole Peanuts gang is featured: bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder who doesn’t give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally is still mocking blanket-toting Linus, Snoopy is in the doghouse, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form.
- Charlie Brown is portrayed by Framingham resident and Fuller Middle student Lang Leonard.
- Snoopy/Schroeder are portrayed by Jessie Pfahler
- Lucy Van Pelt is portrayed by Maya Gonzalez-Griffin
- Sally Brown is portrayed by Brenna McCarthy
- Linus Van Pelt is portaryed by Colin McCarthy
Advanced tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for youth and seniors. Tickets will be $2 more at the door.
