Peck Takes 4th in 100 Freestyle; Flyers Finish 8th in State Swim Meet
Framingham High boys swim team captured fourth place in the 200 freestyle relay at the Division 1 Championships on Saturday.
Framingham High senior Matt Peck swam to a fourth place finish in the 100-yard freestyle and a fifth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at the MIAA Division 1 Championships on Saturday at Boston University’s pool.
The Framingham High boys swim & dive team finished in eighth place overall with 91 points.
St. John’s Prep won the Division 1 title with 287 points.

Framingham finished fourth in the 200 freestyle relay. Swimmers were Peck, sophomore Cole Bassett, senior Ray Wong, and senior Giulian Santos.
The Flyers finished ninth in the 400 freestyle relay. Swimmers were Peck, Bassett, Santos, and junior Aidan O’Leary.

Sophomore Bassett finished ninth overall in the sprint event. He swam 22.36 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle.
