Performing Arts Center of MetroWest Creating A Children's Chorus

The is creating a new children's chorus.

Any child who loves to sing ... can in this new program, which will teach the fundamentals of singing in a fun, interactive & nurturing environment.

The 10-week program will focus on teaching vocal skills, sight-reading, ear training, music history & theory.

No auditions required. Anyone can join in grades 2-6.

There will be 10, 90-minute classes, beginning Tuesday, March 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The 10-week session fee is $160, plus a registration fee of $25.

Handbells, drums & other percussion instruments will enhance learning
& improve rhythmic abilities in the classes. Students will learn a variety of music, in different styles & from all parts of the globe including contemporary, Broadway, classical, Jazz, Folk and multicultural.

No experience required.
