Police K9 Helps Find Endangered Framingham Man
A K9 named Tank helped police find an endangered person Sunday, according to state police.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - A K9 named Tank helped police find an endangered person Sunday, according to state police.
On Sunday, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Framingham Police requested K9 assistance in searching for a person that threatened to harm themselves, police said. Trooper’s Matt McDevitt and Tom Janeczak responded and coordinated a search plan with Framingham officers. Trooper McDevitt then deployed K9 Fathom and Trooper Janeczak deployed K9 Tank in their respective search areas, police said.
Tank quickly acquired a scent and tracked down a block and into the wood line of a park, where he located the person unharmed, police said. The individual was transported to the hospital by Framingham Fire for observation.
